101 Horror Books to Read Before You're Murdered by Sadie Hartmann My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was really looking forward to this book and I wasn't disappointed. As far as I'm aware, this is the first guide to horror fiction since Steve Jones published Horror: 100 Best Books here in the UK way back in the 1980s. That was arranged chronologically whereas this new guide by Sadie Hartmann is arranged by theme and covers books released between 2000 and 2023. A useful feature is the "at a glance" summary for each book. It's a reliable, well-written guide that any horror fan should find invaluable. View all my reviews
